Saturday, May 30th, 2026. A date we won't forget.
We arrived full of excitement — loaded up the car, set up our tent, arranged our table, and took a deep breath. We were about to experience our very first family market at the stunning Hacienda Ruinas de la Lucía in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷
And let us tell you — the place is absolutely spectacular. Surrounded by lush nature and the breathtaking valley of Yabucoa, there's a peace in the air that's hard to describe. The kind of peace that makes you feel like everything you're working toward is worth it.

The energy was wonderful from the start. Fellow vendors all around us, live music filling the space, and the warmth of a community of entrepreneurs who understand the hustle. We felt right at home. 🎶🌺

Our table was set up with love — every bag, every pouch, every piece made by hand from Humacao. The Hecho a Mano sign said it all. 🌿

Now, we'll be honest — the attendance was lower than we expected. We're not entirely sure why. Maybe it was the promotion, maybe it was the day of the week, maybe a little of both. But here's what we know for certain:
Uncertainty is part of the journey.
Every market, every fair, every pop-up is a lesson. Some days the crowd shows up in full force. Other days, you set up your beautiful table and the universe gives you something different — a slower pace, deeper conversations, a chance to connect with the few who do walk by.
And that's okay. That's entrepreneurship. 💌
We came home tired, a little reflective, but grateful. Grateful for the experience, for the community, for the beauty of Yabucoa, and for every single person who stopped by our table that day.
Serendipia Simple Crafts is built on moments like these — imperfect, real, and full of heart. And we wouldn't trade them for anything. 🌴✨
Until the next market — we'll be ready. 👜
